Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Malika Kohli
Dr. Malika Kohli pursued her degree in dentistry through studies in her native India and at Boston University. Dr. Kohli followed-up with several years of additional specialization in periodontics and dental implantation therapies. Dr. Malika Kohli has been in practice as a periodontist and general dentist since 2008 and is Columbia Pike Family Dentistry’s owner and primary dentist. Dr. Kohli lives her commitment to maintaining cutting-edge knowledge and skills by attending a variety of continuing education courses.
Dr. Kohli enjoys living in beautiful Virginia with her husband, two sons and two Boston Terrier dogs.
Dr. Alan Savage
Dr. Alan Savage is a native of Richmond, VA and currently resides in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Dr. Savage graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL.
Dr. Savage received his postdoctoral specialty training in Orthodontics at Howard University in Washington, DC. He has been the recipient of various awards throughout his training including the Orthodontic Biomechanics Award and Pediatric Dentistry award. In addition, he was chosen to be a guest lecturer at the 2015 National Dental Association conference. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Virginia Dental Association, National Dental Association, and Continental Orthodontic Study Club.
Dr. Savage regularly participates in continuing education courses to keep up with the latest technology, research and developments in Orthodontics. He is committed to providing the highest quality of treatment to improve his patients' oral health and esthetics. In his free time, Dr. Savage enjoys playing tennis, bowling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Ahmad Elmohtaseb
Dr.Ahmad Elmohtaseb received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is a member of American Dental Association, and Virginia Dental Association. His main passion is to help patients have a comfortable and relaxing dental experience, and give them a smile they deserve. He also has a passion for cosmetic dentistry.
Currently he is providing a wide range of dental treatments including: different aspects of restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and extractions. He sees patients with different ages from pediatric to geriatric and always tries to make sure that patients are happy before they leave the dental chair. In his time away from the office he enjoys traveling, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
